I am very sure that you must have seen Disposable a.k.a Temporary Email Services provided by lot of websites in which you can get a temporary email ID which you can use for registering online on any website requiring email verification. It is very good service to fight against spam content sent by the website owners after you provide your email ID.

Recently, I saw some downtime reports on websites providing disposable email services most probably due to their popularity. So, I thought how cool it would be if I can get my own disposable email app!

I saw some of the developers had developed such scripts but for some reason they were not as good as I expected them to be. After lot of research, I thought I will start developing such a script for myself as I was having a technical background.

Few days later, I developed a small version of what my thought was behind it and I named it as TMail! I kept that small a.k.a. lite version of TMail on github for anyone to refer and use. You can find that here – https://github.com/harshitpeer/TMail-Lite

So, now lets get to the basic requirements of setting up a Temporary Email Service. You will need 3 basic things to get started:

  1. Domain
  2. Hosting
  3. Script (for eg. TMail Lite)

You can either get a Free Domain from Freenom or you can get a premium domain from Namecheap for as low as USD 0.88 per year. I am selling hosting space at a very affordable price tag, you can visit this page to know the plans. Script is anyway available for free to you, but incase you want to get more premium script you can check out a premium version of TMail as well.

I developed premium version of TMail as I thought people might want to use that as a micro-business strategy and I put that up for sale on Envato Marketplace – CodeCanyon. You can find the premium version of TMail here – https://codecanyon.net/item/tmail-multi-domain-temporary-email-system/20177819

Below is a basic video tutorial on how you can install TMail. Tutorial is almost same for free and premium version.
